Dmitri Fridman, the Executive Director of the BRICS International Commission on Science, Culture, and Trade, met with Mehdi Maskani, the CEO of the Civil Servants Pension Fund (CSPF).
Mehdi Maskani from CSPF expressed his
optimism that the discussions would enhance our country's capabilities in the
BRICS Commission at the start of the meeting.
He highlighted the general discussions
before moving on to evaluating CSPF's executive capabilities.
Maskani pointed out that the fund's
interests are not aligned with individual interests, and that the country's
pensioners benefit from these interests.
He clarified that we intend to enter
the Russian market for profit, just as Russia has entered the Iranian market
for its interests.
As he continued, some of the resources
allocated for the welfare and well-being of our country's pensioners are
derived from the economic activities of the fund's subsidiary companies.
In this regard, exporting products from
these subsidiary companies to Russia is given priority.
Dmitri Friedman, the executive director
of the BRICS International Commission, emphasized the importance of developing
trade relations between Iran and Russia.
He mentioned that the BRICS
International Commission will fully utilize its resources to strengthen
economic ties with Iran.
According to him, the harsh sanctions
imposed on Iran and Russia won't affect the improvement of economic relations
between the two countries, either qualitatively or quantitatively.
He emphasized that Iran and Russia's
friendly ties can help them overcome these sanctions.
Furthermore, he brought up the idea
that the potential capacities of BRICS can be used effectively in this regard.
The meeting was attended by multiple
members of the Board of Directors of the Civil Servants Pension Fund.
The participants reviewed and discussed
the capacities of the economic subgroups of the fund.
