Retired women from the CSPF were runners-up in the Women's World Bowls Doubles Championship
Mahnaz Mohammadpour and Shahin Lotfi, national players of the Iranian boules and petanque team, who are among the retirees of the CSPF, won the silver medal and the title of runner-up in the women's doubles boules tournament.

The tournament was held in Kemer, Turkey for three days and ended with the Iranian representatives being the runner-up.

The National Bowls and Petanque Association of the Islamic Republic of Iran is led by Dr. Jasem Manouchehri, who is a member of the World Confederation of Bowls and Petanque Board of Directors.

The host country's national team won the championship in this round of the tournament, with Slovakia and Latvia sharing the bronze medal.

Mahnaz Mohammadpour and Shahin Lotfi are retired athletes who represented Khouzestan province's petanque team in the 6th National Sports Festival of Iranian Retirees, held in Gilan.
